What's on the wall
“Though small in size, the space is expertly used with bins of handpicked records, shelves of CDs, and a variety of players so you can enjoy music your way.”
What players say again and again

“The owners were super welcoming and friendly; offering help if needed and talking to me about the recent shows they’ve been too!”

Magdalena and Vince are a duo like no other. I have never in my life found a store who manages to find leftover stock of The Gaslight Anthem’s Handwritten. From amazing recommendations on music, preordering some gems like Brand New’s leaked demos to carrying some of the coolest gadgets like the Tru Tone bulbs for…
Great little shop! Lots of cool records & great staff & bonus star for the adorable pup!
Just got home from my first visit and I'm so excited to go back next time! For the size of the place. They have an incredible selection including some Japanese vinyls I couldn't even find in Asia. Staff was incredibly friendly and they seemed to really care about the community.
I normally review restaurants, coffee shops and other small businesses. I found Boro Records on instagram yesterday and I knew I had to do whatever I could to get there today. I was absolutely overwhelmed by the store. The owner Vincent was one of the nicest guys.I've met in a long time and I meet alot of people.
Selling or trading gear at Boro Records
Boro Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
