From the reviews
I recently brought my mandolin to another guitar store on the westside and had a bad experience trying to get my mandolin repaired. I was hesitant to bring to another shop, but was lucky to find Boulevard Music.
"I played their martin D35, and it was just beautiful. Mark and I were discussing it, and I thought, 'I don't think I'm ready to buy it today because I have to sell my vintage D35 Martin First , and I don't want to rush.' Mark chimed in, saying, 'Hey, we just want you to feel comfortable.
They are pretty nice but... I bought a Martin guitar at a good price there. I am a practicing medical doctor. I am fully vaccinated, have no symptoms and wear a mask; I wash my hands and use antiseptic gels all day. My cuticle is cracked and bleeding from all the washing and gels.
I just came back o Boulevard Music after Fender recommended I take my guitar to them. I had thought my guitar was toast with a busted truss rod but Doug made time for me and sat down immediately with me and my guitar.
Lessons at Boulevard Music
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Boulevard Music. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
