I purchased a Ibanez bass over a year ago and it developed fret bite where the edges of the frets were protruding over the edge of the fretboard. Also the volume pot was beginning to fail as well. I was very please to find Chip online and grateful that he was local as well.
I am thrilled to have found Chip. It’s tough to find a great luthier that you can trust. After a disappointing experience with work on my guitar at another place, I found Chip Tait through a friend. In the span of two weeks he has worked on 4 of my guitars, all custom shop or vintage guitars.
Chip is by far one of the best guitar techs I have had the pleasure to work with. Everything I have brought to him has been handled with care and to my exact specifications and liking! We even have collaborated on a few projects to make my vision come to life!
