From the reviews
Very friendly, helpful staff! Clean & well setup shop with easy access. Found myself a couple vinyls & will be back for a turntable shortly🤞🏻
One of the most organized record stores I have been to in a very long time. They carry both new and used records, along with CDs, it is a very nice selection for the size of the store. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely stop in again when I am in Billings.
Absolutely the best record store in Montana, and probably the best I’ve ever been to. Insane selection, super fair used record deals, great staff, easy layout, can’t give them a higher recommendation. We stop every time we are in town and it’s never ever a let down.
Simply one of the best record stores I’ve been to in my long 54 years. No douchy, condescending attitudes and friendly service. Tattoo shops could learn something from this place. Thrilled to find it!
Selling or trading gear at Cameron Records
Cameron Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
