But far the beat shop in Illinois period! They know the instruments they can play those instruments and they can tell you if what you are looking for first the needs you have. My experience with the guys behind the counter, especially Eric. Have always been professional and helpful. I've had them work on my guitars several times and not been disappointed. They have a wide variety of acoustic guitars and the pianos especially the Yamaha's are beautiful.
This is my favorite music store in Springfield. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of guitars, basses, effects, amps, and other miscellaneous gear. Probably the largest left handed stock as well. (still small but not bad)

I went in the other day looking to sell two guitars, fix one's output jack, and then source parts such as a whammy bar, strap screws (as in the unit that's screwed into the side that you hook a strap onto), straps, and pickup switch…
