Carl is great to work with! High skilled and very personable and responsive. I have a custom build that needed a proper setup, and Carl got the action perfect. I came back to him to have him shape the headstock, and could not be happier with the result! I highly recommend coming to him for any service needed.
I needed work on my Taylor and my Frankinstrat and could not have found a better luthier to take it to! The Taylor needed the preamp replaced and the Strat needed a number of issues addressed to make it play and sound like it should and a complete set up, rolling the fret board, and tone pots wired correctly.
The local guitar repair shop has almost vanished. When I was younger, the local guitar shop did it all and did it well. I was surprised and lucky to find Chalmers Guitar in Citrus Heights that still works that way. Carl(the owner ) replaced the bridge, set the action and intonation on my Telecaster.
Carl was really great to work with! He responded within minutes of me sending a quote request and accepted my bass as a drop off the same day. I felt it was left in great hands and it was evidently so when I came back to pick it up. I highly recommend working with him on any guitar needs someone has.
