Ultra great welcoming record store. Top quality, large selection, great prices and accurately graded merchandise. Mike and his staff are super nice people and very knowledgeable about all types of music (from Punk, Metal, DooWop, Jazz, Blues and everything in between).
Great collection and friendly staff. Stopped by with my two young kids prior to picking up dinner and wish I had longer to browse. Nice to have this shop in our town.
First time out shopping here and had a great experience. Cool store and great staff. Selection was fantastic as well. Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna, Jefferson Airplane and Paul Simon. So I’ll be be enjoying my vinyl and looking forward to coming back frequently. Highly recommended.
Great vinyl collection. The stock is eclectic, and the pricing is reasonable. Shop is vintage feeling with cool concert posters on the walls, nostalgic and Gen X friendly!!!! Browse at your own pace, no hassle....cash/cash app/venmo/Zelle.
Selling or trading gear at Clockwork Records
Clockwork Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
