I have a number of guitars, but my first electric was a Jackson Dinky JS22. When I first bought it, I paid another ‘professional’ to set it up. But it still had string buzzing and the action was pretty high at over 2mm.
I have been playing fingerstyle guitar for 10 years and no one had ever mentioned a luthier or the need for one to me. I am at the point where I am a fairly good player and was looking to make a jump in skill level.
Xavier is amazing. I had the pre-amp go out on a mid 90s Takamine e/a. Xavier found an upgrade online, ordered it, installed it, tuned up the guitar, and made the process about as easy as possible. He communicates well, was a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend using him. Thanks for the great service!
I took my acoustic and electric guitars to Javier and I was incredibly pleased with the outcome and the service. I would highly recommend him. I really didn't think I would notice such a difference as I'm no expert but the change was drastic in a wonderful way. He's got a customer for life with me.
