A few months ago I popped in looking to see if consumer music offered rental services since I was looking for speakers to set up for my wedding. Brad was more than helpful and knowledgeable so easily I felt comfortable renting equipment from consumer music.
Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. My daughter is just starting out learning the guitar. I bought her a beginner guitar online but wanted some better quality strings and from a nearby retailer and a quick search lead me to consumer music.
Excellent. Entered the store and told the proprietor that I used to play a little guitar decades ago and wanted to pick it back up as a hobby. Coming in with almost no real knowledge or memory. He showed me several models and price ranges, we discussed electric vs. acoustic, etc.
I had the pleasure of meeting Brad Sears and his team at Consumer Music during a special Open Mic event that included a recipient of A Wish of a Lifetime where the nice lady learned to play guitar and performed in front of a live audience. The music and setting at this location in Vallejo are fantastic.
