From the reviews
Outstanding drum store; great customer service; product exactly as advertised; and shipped quickly. Thank you Terry and staff for getting the Ludwig Classic Maple floor Tom to me in great condition!
I cannot express enough how professional and knowledgeable Terry and Carter are at Dave's drum Depot Terry did a lot of work for me fairly price two drum sets to trade on a gorgeous used DW kit! Thank you for all the great service!!
Drummers are gear nuts. And this large, well-stocked shop is chock full of gear. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I found cymbals here I'd never seen anywhere ... and more. Excellent store.
Wonderful assortment of drum paraphernalia. They even have a back wall of interesting keyboards? They all look vintage to me. Friendly and helpful staff.
Selling or trading gear at Dave's Drum Depot
Dave's Drum Depot comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
