Great shop where they encourage you to plug in and try out any of the guitars, basses, and or pedals/amps. The pricing is good and the selection is great. I bought the Fender Meteora Bass and even through I wasn’t expecting anything but the bass, he gave me a nice gator case for it.
Great shop with a nice spread and friendly staff. I have always been able to find things very easily due to the organization and signage. You know, like when something says “as is” I understand that there is a potential risk for that and I think it is an honest business practice that should not be penalized.
Great guitar shop. Good selection of guitars, in terms of style and price range. Plenty of amps to plug into and try them out, too. Sadly there aren't any music stores like this in Orlando. It was totally worth the drive though. I picked up a nice Reverend Charger at a good price.
I have bought several guitars from Dave and Brett over the years. These guys are some of the best people I know in the business. Always fair and honest. Great selection of gear. If they don’t have what you’re looking for… just wait, because they will eventually! Go see them; you won’t be disappointed.
Selling or trading gear at DB MUSIC
DB MUSIC comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
