What players say again and again
“The communication from Andrew and team was excellent and they made me a great deal.”
From the reviews
I recently had the most incredible experience with Frank Gappa at Distinctive Guitar. From the moment I reached out, Frank's dedication to customer service was evident. I had been dreaming of owning a Suhr in Satin Black, and Frank made that dream a reality with unparalleled professionalism and enthusiasm.
Just purchased a Gibson ES 335 from this shop online. I had been shopping this guitar for over 6 months and couldn't pull the trigger. The communication from Andrew and team was excellent and they made me a great deal. Guitar arrived on time. Set up was perfect. Condition was as good or better than advertised.
Fabulous customer service and superb communication. I've only ever purchased a guitar on-line once, from Distinctive Guitar - and it was a pleasure to deal with them. They are patient, understanding and accurate with their merchandise descriptions and photo's.
Pure pleasure dealing with Noah and the crew at Distinctive Guitars. I just purchased a buckeye burl - topped Axis SS from them, and, a few years back, a Suhr Classic T. Both were outstanding guitars, and typical of the care they show when selecting their inventory.
Selling or trading gear at Distinctive Guitar
Distinctive Guitar comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
