Walker makes the best guitars I have ever played! I’ve owned vintage, and custom shop guitars, and my Doubleday guitars are far superior in sound and playability. Walker will build your guitar exactly as you envision it; hand-shaped neck, custom pickups, choice of tone wood, hardware, color and finish.
Walker is one of the best guitar builders in Texas and goes above and beyond for his customers. I own three of his builds and I have almost exclusively used them at every show for the past year. You certainly get what you pay for with one of these.
I have two guitars made by Walker. One custom made and another one he had done before. The quality of his work is incredible (and I am kinda picky about this). The custom one I asked for many many details and he was spot on on everything.
