My friend and I came to Downbeat Music Center for guitar and drum lessons, as they seemed to have the best prices around. I definitely do not regret it. Josh and John (I’m not sure who is who-- I’m sorry.
Went by today to get new strings and tuning for my mandolin. I was prepared to leave the instrument and come back another day, but since I had driven 45 minutes to the store Andy went ahead and completed the service on the spot to save me another trip.
Fantastic music store! A hidden gem to be sure. And they sell band instruments! Just purchased a trombone for my son from Andrew and I couldn't be happier with it. I had been renting my son's instrument from another store (as set up by his school) and was tired of throwing money down the drain.
Andy's shop has a nice selection of equipment and supplies for players of guitar, bass, or drums. You can buy, sell, trade equipment, Andy specializes in set-up of Gibson and Fender guitars, repairs of most types of electric guitars, or even special order you something he might not have on hand.
