I walked in with a question about a guitar I already owned and the manager was very helpful. Led me through the buying process while being sensitive to my budget and ability. He didn't try to upsell me on the fanciest guitar or any gadgets, just honest and helpful to get me what I needed.
My new guitar had a serious problem with pinging. This situation drove me crazy and I had to send the guitar back to the manufacturer. They sent me a new guitar, but the exact same issue was present. I took the guitar to Randy Wood Guitars and they called me back the next day with the guitar completed.
I bought my first guitar here...a beautiful Fender Parlor guitar. I received great tips for getting started as a newbie. Robert put the strings down for me, and got me set up with my tuner and picks. I'm getting inspiration to keep practicing by attending the wonderful performances at the Pickin' Parlor.
