There is positively no better Luthier than Bill Fels in the area. This is not a repair shop but a shop with expert luthiers that are incredibly reasonable for the work they do. I had them put a custom Floyd Rose on my 7 string guitar and it is positively beautiful.
If you remember Guitar Factory, then you already know why it's 5 stars. If you don't know what I'm talking about, have you heard the saying "Good. Fast. Affordable. Pick two?" This is a magical place where you can choose three.
This the best experience I have had with an instrument repair business, hands down. Cory and his father run such a welcoming and knowledgeable shop. Went in to get my guitar nut slotted thinking I would have to wait a day or so, but he took it to the bench immediately and started working on it.
Best shop on the east coast. Billy has been saving guitars since at least the mid 70's when I first heard of him. Decades as The Guitar Factory ended when they lost the building, now Billy gas his son Cory in the same room working with him. Second generation expertise in one room.
