These guys are Luthiers not guitar techs. They have set up, repaired and modified most of my guitars. If you want a mediocre guitar to play like a custom shop you bring it here for a set up. If you have a custom shop (I do) and want it to play and sound like a grail guitar, you bring it here.
So glad Gabriel brought his long-lived luthier business here from Phoenix! Gabriel's Guitars is centrally located on Monroe Street (with off street parking). He's very customer-oriented and does nice work. He helped me by attaching a custom-made pick guard (from another craftsman) to my brand new mandolin.
Gabe is my go-to guy for most of my guitar needs. Really friendly personable dude who is great at communicating everything relating to your instrument. Also more than willing to talk all things guitars with you. Has done amazing finish work on my guitar, and just overall a great dude and a neat shop.
Michael took care of my Squier tele without even being judgemental 😉. He put it together for me and strung it up and did a great setup. This is a very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable shop. Prices are very reasonable. A+++++ Thanks!
