This past week we needed an instrument repair and cleaning, and we were met with wonderful service, deep musical knowledge, and friendly folks. It was as positive of an experience as one could hope, especially after having such fond memories from Giant Steps as a child.
Cute and quaint music store. Known for their brass and wind instruments, but have recently added a guitar and bass area as well. Helpful staff, knowledgeable. Definitely a place you are coming if your kids start band and they want to get serious. Passed it 100x on Hixson Pike but never realized what it was.
Fantastic shop with reasonable prices, extremely knowledgeable staff, and very, very nice instruments. Meticulous in repairing my 30yr old trumpet, knew every detail about it and it's as good as new. These are your guys.
We have been using Giant Steps for our instrument repair/ maintenance for 5 years now. The staff are very friendly and do great work. When ever we have a repair that comes up they fix it in a timely manner. We will continue to use them and highly recommend them to anyone we know.
