Jon is the absolute best I've ever I've ever found. His technical abilities are impeccable, his judgement is based on a deep wisdom and experience in caring for stringed/fretted instruments, and his integrity is second-to-none.
John Ferber and his colleague Skip are great. Super nice, really love bringing back beat up guitars - in my case an old Gibson J-45 from the 60's. It had gone through some rough times but still sounded ok and after being passed around between several friends it came back to me. And John said let's fix it.
John did a full setup on my PRS back in 2021 and did a great job. Stopped in today, about 2 years later, and asked if I could drop it off for an adjustment. He said how about I do right now and he seemed happy to do it. He stopped what he was doing and he spent about 20 minutes on it.
Integrity. These two guys have integrity and in this day and in age, that’s hard to come by. I came into the shop after reading the amazing reviews online and after telling one of Jon that I had recently broken a string on my guitar, he took the time to examine for any other problems.
