Called him about bringing in my guitar and he gave me great advice over the phone, at no cost, and apologized that he didn’t have time to take my guitar in right now. Hopefully next time I’ve got an issue he’s got time, because he’s the first call I’ll be making.
Stephen White is one of the top guitar techs in the Bay Area. It took him literally 15 minutes to fix a custom wiring problem another tech got wrong despite having my guitar over a full weekend.
Steve was patient, gracious, and music-brilliant while he strung my old Yamaha guitar for me. I watched and asked questions, and I highly recommend him.
