Brad, Jeff, and Steve are wizards when it comes to instrument repair and set up. I actually brought in a luthier from Australia (Maurice Paul Guitars) to meet these guys and pick up some tips on how to best approach guitar set up.
Brad gave me an honest appraisal of work needed on my instrument, and the bill came in right in the ballpark! Good work, made my grandpa's mandolin look years younger, and improved the playability. Also worked on my husband s on-board electronics on a Martin guitar, and got them working.
Just bought a Gibson Les Paul and upon playing it for a week or so decided it probably needed a setup. I contacted GTS and got Brad on the phone. We discussed what I needed and the price. When I finally brought it in Brad was up front and when I told him my story he said he remembered talking to me.
