Taking your precious gear to an new luthier can be one of the most harrowing or rewarding experiences ever. Thankfully, I took a chance and went with Tulsa Guitar Repair, and was gifted with the later, instead of the former. T.J was respectful, knowledgeable, and best of all, competent.
Excellent setup on my new Martin and it was pretty quick as well, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a setup and/or repair on their guitar. TJ did an amazing job! The staff is very friendly too, I will be coming back for any of my guitar needs.
Updated review: TJ is a great Luthier and good guy. I'm a new guitarist and TJ has been super patient with all my questions (which has not been a small number). I had him setup two guitars for me, both came out great. Cannot recommend enough!
TJ does great work. He made a new bone nut for a Les Paul that has the typical factory issues, did a set-up and it's the best guitar of the whole lot now. Just walk into his shop and you know he's the real deal. Going to take some more projects for him soon. They work on tube amps also!
