Luthier Kara did a fantastic job repairing my 1830 Saxony violin. I trust only her when it comes to such fine detailed work. I enclose a few pictures which tell the story better than many words. I would also add that she is able to do basic set-ups effectively, efficiently, and economically.
I’ve always appreciated Heid Music for their excellent service to students. All of my daughter’s cellos have come from Heid, and when we recently had it repaired, it was expertly done! But to say that the service I got when I crossed a major item off my own musical bucket list was top tier is an understatement.
4/5 stars – Solid local spot, but Guitar Center edges it out on vibe Heid Music on College Ave in Appleton is a great go-to for musicians around here. As a local shop, they’ve got a ton of inventory—everything from student rentals to higher-end gear—and their repair team has come through for me multiple times.
Stopped in today to pick up some items to help with my progression in electric guitar. Myself and my parents wandered to the brass section of the building to be greeted by Bill, who offered assistance.
