The selection was great. However it was the knowledge and staff that really shines. I'd been to Guitars r Us (you can figure out who is down the road) and we were ignored and the advice was generic at best. Luke however here at Heidi was excellent.
I've been playing guitar for many years and usually gave my business to Guitar Center because they have a larger selection overall compared to smaller mom and pop shops. The last two times I went to GC I was disappointed by the quality and care of the guitars so I decided to take a look elsewhere.
I took my son to Heid Music in Madison to shop for an electric bass guitar. Luke was the music enthusiast who helped us, and he did a wonderful job showing us their great selection.
Heid has a fantastic staff that has been instrumental, get it, in helping to guide my daughter's middle school music journey. I am not a musician so I appreciate all the help I can get. Special shoutout to Liz who has helped me with two instrument rentals, some repair work, and has answered a bunch of questions.
