Beautiful record store - I've wanted to visit for a few years and finally had a chance to. Stopped in here for the first time after a dentist appointment and I was knocked off of my feet by the selection and the organization present throughout - vinyls and CDs alike.
I recently visited Hello Records, and despite my challenging work schedule, I’m glad I made it over. Although I didn’t have the time to explore their full selection of 45s, I still walked away with some fantastic finds. Wade, the owner, is a genuine person, and the staff is exceptionally kind and attentive.
Haven’t been since they were in Detroit like back in 2014… now I’ve visited the most recent location and I friggin love it… Tyler one of the staff is an excellent and very cool guy… He’s very knowledgeable on music and especially movies which is a plus…. They have an amazing selection of physical media and music…
It was the best when it was in Corktown and continues to be the best. The most well curated record shop around Detroit, where I'm constantly finding new and used gems in punk, jazz and electronic. Wade and the staff are all the nicest people and I go out of my way to shop with them.
