I have known Dave for almost 20 years and I can honestly say that he is extremely passionate about everything guitar related. I don’t let just anyone work on my guitars. A guitarist has to be very selective and serious when choosing a luthier or guitar technician.
Hollywood Dave is extremely knowledgeable in the mechanics and functionality of guitars. I’m a new student of bass and it didn’t sound or feel quite right. He replaced my strings and adjusted. Appreciated his knowledge. His prices are great, too.
I found the guy ! Dave did a great job with my Telecaster. Friendly, on time and very professional. I tested the guitar with him, he did the last adjustments and was impecable to go out and play. Thanks again, totally recommended.
I took a new guitar to Dave to have it set up properly. The instrument now plays much more easily and comfortably, and Dave accomplished it with an amazing turnaround. To top it off, he is friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable; I would definitely reuse his services when needed.
