So after years of playing Tele's I got my first Gibson - CS-336. Just could not warm up to it. Put in Rolph pickups (great Pickups) and had a chain store repair guy install and set up. Still had intonation problems, played poorly and never stayed in tune.
I couldn't be more pleased with the work that Randy and Will did on my Hummingbird. They provide world-class service and really make the customer feel welcome, informed and more than satisfied. They each have a special kind of warmth and honesty.
I brought Randy and Will a Gibson LG-1 that had spent the last 20+ years set up for high strung. I wanted the instrument returned to standard tuning. Randy spent a good half hour going over the instrument with me - taking time to explain all the options, and getting the info to make the guitar perfect for me.
Randy is so knowledgeable about guitars and music theory. I am a very beginner learning acoustic guitar and he took the time to not only get my guitar sounding better but taught me what he was doing along the way. I can’t recommend Randy & his son Will enough! Support this fantastic local guitar shop.
