What's on the wall
“This store has a huge variety of records making it a collector's dream come true!”
What players say again and again
“Every single record I purchased was in near pristine condition (some of them brand new and still sealed) for a great price.”
From the reviews
An amazing Record Store Day Experience! Everything I got was fairly priced and and fairly graded on the quality of the record and cover. Tons of classics there and even a whole section for the Beatles. I haven't that many Beatles records in any store I've been to yet.
My daughter is into vinyl. She asked to go and check it out. Dave and the staff sold me a refurbished turntable at a very reasonable price. I've been hooked ever since. What a great marketing strategy. Great selection, great store.
Great selection of vinyls. New and vintage. Reasonably priced. The store is well-organized which makes it easy to find items. The owner is great at finding something if not in stock.
So awesome!! Came in with 3 other friends and we all found something we liked, at amazing prices too. Has consistently been one of my favorite vinyl stores. Always new things for sale, and has vinyls you can’t really find many places else! Owner is very friendly too.
Selling or trading gear at Inner Groove Records
Inner Groove Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
