Jeff is hands-down the best luthier/tech/sounding board for my dumb gear ideas that I’ve ever worked with. Alex’s refinishes are perfect every time. Like unbelievably consistent. If you’re in southern NE and bringing your stuff anywhere else, it can only be because you’ve never worked with JFS.
As a musician, when you leave your instruments to be worked on, you want someone with character and integrity. With Jeff, you get both and then some. I have brought all of my stringed instruments to Jeff over the years and each time he did a great job.

Jeff and his team at JFS guitars do great work and he stands by it. I’ve brought several instruments to him with various issues and he is quick to diagnose and come up with solutions.
