I don’t know where to begin, except to say that surely no one else on the planet would have taken on the challenge of erasing the hideous damage my kids accidentally inflicted upon my beloved 12-string Guild guitar, unbeknownst to me, 20 years ago.

What I assumed would only entail a basic tune up, unfortunately, turned out to be a much more extensive refretting of my prized guitar. Mr.
Joe is an exceptional, expert luthier with 50+ years of experience and an equally kind and fair man. I recently bought a new guitar, spending more than I had originally planned and realized it needed a set-up and some fret work. I gave Joe a call asking if he could look at it and he said to bring it on in.
My experience at Joe Pichkur's shop felt like a scene from a movie. I stumbled upon it while searching for my first guitar. For weeks, I scoured Facebook Marketplace and Guitar Center, but as a complete novice, the process was overwhelming and intimidating. The moment I met Joe, I knew I was in the right hands.
