Bob Judge is one of the best amp techs I've worked with in the 45 years I've been playing guitar. Just last week I brought in a bone stock 1965 Ampeg Gemini I for a recapping and Bob got it done by the following week, and at a VERY reasonable cost. The amp sounds spectacular too, running very quietly at idle.
Bob Judge hands down is one of the greatest tech's and builder I have done business with. Let me begin by saying that transparency and communication are the best attributes when dealing with him. I recently had one of my amps retubed and modded by him and are completely blown away.
Judge amps is the easily best place for amp repair in the Boston-metro area! Bob is the man. Bob diagnosed and fixed my AC30 extremely quickly and for a very reasonable price. Also helped me with a bizarre request of removing a stripped screw from my pedalboard. Really couldn't recommend Judge Amps more highly!
