Absolutely five stars for Ron - I brought him an acoustic and two electrics (on my first visit, there will be more) and he did a fine job on each of them. He's a stickler for getting necks ironed out, frets smooth and silky and action right where you want it.
Ron @ KC Guitar Setups is GREAT to work with! Very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a wonderful job leveling and crowning the frets on a nice but worn guitar I had picked up, the setup was perfect! He even fixed up a crack on the back of the body for me. On top of all this- he's the most affordable in town!
I took a Chinese made Les Paul to Ron that had playability issues. For only $80, he made it play like I didn't expect it was so good I could not believe it was the same guitar. Money well spent. I just wish I had found him sooner! Plus he is a very great guy and his prices are way too cheap for what he does.
