I had an amazing day at KoAloha. I did the tour where we got to build our own soprano ukulele. Peng showed us what to do and was super friendly and helpful. The kit is very high quality and shares the same bracing and construction as the more expensive models but with pine instead of Koa.

About a year and a half ago, I bought a soprano pineapple shape ukulele from KoAloha during a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, and it’s still one of my favorite travel memories. Visiting the KoAloha factory was amazing — I got to see firsthand how they handcraft each ukulele in-house from authentic Hawaiian koa wood.
Love the vibe, great folks. Stopped by to get a picture of my tenor where it was born. The guys stopped to talk to us in the middle of an a/c repair and shop renovation. Just wish they had some tees for sale so I could show my KoAlhoa pride 🤙
