I've been going to Lafayette Music for as far back as I can remember. Started playing Oboe back in 1972. Purchased all of my kids' instruments there, including a beginner trumpet & flute and Pro-Line instruments, including an Oboe, French Horn, & Tuba.
Recently moved (back) to Lafayette. I haven't been to Lafayette Music in probably 17-20 years. What a delight! I went specifically to look at their selection of Taylor Guitars - as they are an authorized dealer. WOW! They had 1 or more of every guitar across the line.
I just acquired a new guitar from a private sale & was having issues adjusting the truss rod, took it to a couple places & we were not able to figure it out. Had just about given up hope on it when I took it into Lafayette Music Co. and Alex diagnosed the issue.
This is the best music store in Lafayette, LA.... period....handsdown.....
