From the reviews
Edit: Mr Randy and the family now carry a line of Alvarez! I was pressured into buying the MD60EBG all solid wood model! I was not pressured by the family in anyway but the guitar did all the talking! You gotta check out his line of Alvarez!
I stopped in today while I was in town for a project and spent some time with Randy. The store is awesome, especially for drummers. He has the perfect mix of new and vintage instruments and everything in between. Great experience and great conversation. Will definitely go back next time I’m in the area!
Thanks to Mr. Lanier’s suggestion to use the proper strings, I was able to eliminate the buzzing on my guitar. Now I’m playing with ease and the chord transitions smooth, easy and quiet. It was a simple fix that required plenty experience, which is what I didn’t have. Thanks again for all your help!
Ive spent an entire career shopping at Randy's store and have never once been disappointed ! Randy has bent over backwards so many times to help me ... even to the point of calling his competitor's at times , when he didn't have what I needed at the moment.
Lessons at Lanier Music
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Lanier Music. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
