From the reviews
I brought in a bass for a setup and some cosmetic updates (changing the knobs and pickguard). The pickguard I bought online wasn't exactly the right size, but Dylan made it work. The bass looked amazing when I picked it up. And it stayed in tune much better.
I’d definitely recommend taking your guitar to Lee for servicing. I bought a guitar from Craigslist that wouldn’t produce any sound when plugged into an amp. After searching online for repair shops, I came across Lee’s Guitars. I showed up without an appointment, and he still took the time to help me.
Dylan came through in a clutch! Other luthiers told me that my Japanese Strat was done for, but I had him look it over. He assured me that he could get it right, and I haven’t been able to put it down since. Plays like a dream, sounds great and he even suggested this pickguard and customized it to fit my guitar.
Dylan is an excellent luthier/musician in the DC area. He was able to take my first electric guitar build which needed the bridge set, a new nut, fret leveling/polishing, plus a full setup, and turn it into a finished instrument. He also provided insight into technical issues I can apply for my next guitar build.
