When I was changing strings on one of my guitars I noticed a crack in the bridge that went between the bridge pin holes and some of the frets were “sprouting”. The guitar was a victim of Colorado dryness and lack of hydration. I took it to Matt for evaluation.
Matt truly loves this work. Along with providing top notch craftsmanship, he also enjoys talking music, the lutherie process, and anything else that might be on your mind.
Matt is amazing! Super welcoming, passionate about his work. When I dropped of two guitars (a Strat and a ln Epiphone ES-335) he talked through his initial impression of the instruments with me, what tools he would be using, and what his approach to it all would be.
