Dirk did an excellent job setting up my new (to me) Yamaha ls16 and installing a strap button at the heel of the neck. We had a frank discussion about what I wanted to do with the instrument when I dropped it off, and he gave excellent advice.
I have had Dirk work on my Gibson J-45 acoustic twice. One for some body work on the back and another time for simple action adjustment. I have enjoyed the great work he has done on this guitar. Love the way this guitar now plays after adjusting and great clear sound it delivers. Thank you Dirk.
I’ve owned a Martin SC-10E for about six months and, depending upon how you look at it, through about two to eight central Texas changes of seasons during that time frame. The action was pretty high at the twelfth fret and playing notes on the first fret was downright painful.
I am so over the top excited on the work that Love’s Guitar Repair did on my Gibson Flying V and Zager Acoustic guitars. Both were just not playing good. I wasn’t sure if anything could be done for them. My Gibson was fretting out about the 12 fret, and the Zager played lifeless.
