From the reviews
What a great little record shop for vintage and current titles! You'll find a well organized, well-stocked store front complete with a tastefully curated selection of featured LPs in many genres. What's more they have a listening room in the back with headphones and a couch.
The staff, I think Josh was his name was friendly and very helpful answered all of my questions with no hesitation. Fair prices and clean environment. I will definitely return as well as recommend to others..
Amazing selection of vinyls and helpful staff. Very organized and easy to navigate, I was able to find just what I was looking for!
Very friendly staff but selection is very eclectic. Great for rare finds and exploring new sounds but not for finding classics.
Selling or trading gear at Main Street Vinyl, LLC
Main Street Vinyl, LLC comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
