Amazingly friendly and helpful staff! Middle C is a great place to pick up your general music needs, but maybe isn't the best specifically for guitar equipment. They still have the basics for guitar, and will order anything you need! I have also used their guitar repair/tune-up service and everything was great. Thanks!
My time in DC wasn't the greatest. Driving through squalor at a jogs pace, avoiding the 'unwell' spawning left and right to get to a boring and uninspired yoga class taught by an activist was my daily norm. But, their music stores are the best in the country.
Several years ago our family relocated to DC. Our youngest had a collection of instruments and no formal lessons. What a delight to find this space in the heart of Tenleytown. The entire staff welcomed us warmly. Dedicated musicians and teachers cheerfully instruct students of every level.
The staff at Middle C are some of the most patient people I have dealt with. My daughter took electric guitar lessons for a couple of months and I had to cancel/reschedule a few times. Each and every time I called, the staff were very patient and did their best to accommodate our schedule.
