I found Midtown guitars while googling a place to get my guitar fixed while I was in Michigan for a weekend of shows . I reached out and got a quick response . I was impressed by the customer service and care . I didn’t even know my Taylor COULD feel this good! Where has this guitar been all my life?!
Found Gordon when doing some research on techs in the area after getting my first guitar (Ibanez RG) a few months ago. It was a floor model from guitar center, so I wanted to make sure it was properly set up as I continue playing more.
Gordon made my first electric playable again. All the necessary tweaks and some new strings…dropped in a new pickup and all new electronics, as well as a fresh, mint green pick guard to make it have that vintage Esquire look and sound.
Gordon did a phenomenal job on my bass guitar. I bought it used off Facebook marketplace and thought it played well, but was a bit dirty and the strings were in bad shape. I figured I SHOULD get it set up even though I didn’t think it would make much of a difference, and am glad I did!
