Mike's Music is a great old-time guitar shop covering three floors. The person running the place was very friendly. An amazing assortment of vintage guitars, bass guitars and amps. Third floor is where the amazing stuff is, rare old Telecasters, Stratocasters, Gibsons Les Pauls, and more. It's like a museum.
I’m so glad I snuck in to get my guitar while they had the Newport location. Mike helped me find the perfect guitar for my lifelong dream and 10-year goal of playing and singing at a coffee shop. He didn’t judge because I’m a novice, he just helped me find a guitar that fit me, my goals, and my budget. I’m in love.
Loved this place. Lots of vintage gear. Friendly staff. I didn’t know there were two locations with this one being the smaller one but it was still increasingly. Highly recommend you go if you like guitars at all.
I am new to Cincy and was looking for a local Music Store for guitar strings, advice, etc. and found Mike’s Music on a Google search. The reviews were great so I took 2 guitars to the store without an appointment to have them restrung. One of the vintage guitars was restrung while I waited and watched along.
