From the reviews
I googled this music spot because it's right there on Taylor road and I never got his name but the guy working the front was so nice. He tuned my son's cello and showed how to take care of the instrument and the bow and while I was waiting I heard someone playing the electric guitar which was really cool and soothing.
5 stars are not enough to give this location! The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. I had a clarinet repaired here. They were reasonably expeditious in the repair when they heard my daughter needed it for band competition. In addition, I have also purchased an electric guitar for my other daughter.
Very nice staff and they taught me many different things about Clarinet than I ever had in 5 minutes. Whoever got these staff… amazing job and I would definitely without hesitation recommend this place.
I’m a beginner guitarist, (totally newbie!), and my friend recommended Scott at Arts & Music as a resource should I have any questions or need help. When I broke a string on my borrowed guitar, I took it to Scott and he taught me how to replace the string and answered all my questions.
Lessons at Music & Arts
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Music & Arts. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
