The owner and Retail/Sales Managers are all very friendly, I go there regularly before work to let go of some stress. They do need to try to get more variety in their store, but way better than Guitar Center, in customer service and in prices.
I finally got tired of being snubbed by the jerks at GC and started going to Music Center in lakewood and I now make this my first stop when buying musical supplies. The owner is truly passionate about music and it shows.
I found this place by accident while driving down the road. I had been wanting to start learning about music for a long time, but continuously made excuses. I stopped here and looked around for a few minutes.
I originally went to a different guitar store and ended up walking out. I decided on a whim to go to this store and I ended up walking out with a guitar that is suited for me. The guys there were super helpful and gave me pointers on which ones are good for beginners and why.
