From the reviews
While Music & Arts may be a national business, the staff here are super friendly, and handle issues professionally. Their goal of creating a strong local atmosphere is clear. The teachers are also excellent and always happy to talk to you about your goals or aspirations - and help you get there!
I love this music store. This is by far the best music store in the Rochester area. The staff is super friendly and they will help you look for your instrument if your looking for one. I got a brand new Fox oboe from here and it sounded as good as new. It even came with a reed and a nice case.
Today was my first time here. I bought strings for an acoustic guitar, some picks, a winder for strings. There are lots of beautiful instruments in this store! Great place to buy musical instruments! Guitars 🎸 🎸 🎸 were all very nice. You can also take lessons here as well.
A great place to shop and rent any band or orchestra instrument for your kids, who wants to try and play bands in 4th Grade and up. Great customer service and we signed up for the free cleaning too and keep renting until you have enough to own your instrument. My son would love to own his, he loves his clarinet!
Lessons at Music & Arts
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Music & Arts. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
