I stopped by with my daughter. They are friendly without being overbearing. We checked out the used band instruments for several minutes without being harassed. It was nice. They definitely seem to be geared more toward guitars though. Id say half the store is guitars.
Music Go Round Columbus (and occasionally at Gahanna store) is my go-to music store. Best prices for strings and accessories and has a great selection of used music gear of all kinds, and very consistently, at more-than-reasonable pricing.
I was pleasantly pleased with this place, it was a much needed breath of fresh air from my usual haunt of music related things. I got a PRS tube combo here brand new, it was THREE HUNDRED dollars less than a popular online music retailer.
Can’t say enough great things about MGR. The staff is always awesome and helpful. If I had to deal with a bunch of goobers fiddling with every musical instrument known to man all day I would go crazy. They always come through. I’ve bought instrument after instrument and I’ll keep coming back.
