So I was taking my guitars and basses up to Richmond to get set-ups when a friend told me about Master Luthier Chris and Master Luthier Kyle. I brought a guitar in and they performed a fret leveling for $100. Got the guitar back and it plays like a dream.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will was awesome and helped me to get my first drum kit. Left some of my wiring in a guitar bag that I traded in and forgot to take them out and they gave me the wiring back no questions asked. Zach helped me pick some new guitar strings as well.
When you get a set up, ask for Kyle! He did an amazing job with my acoustic electric guitar. When I got it from a friend the strings we so high it was very difficult to play, I couldn't do a clear bar chord for the life of me. After Kyle worked his magic, it is the easiest to play out of my 3 guitars.
This is exactly the Music Store I was looking for after leaving Japan that has awesome second hand music shops. When possible I try to buy everything used and Music Go Round’s selection is always revolving and top.
