pretty great service and excellent price, but my guitar came back pregnant with triplets.
Jim is the finest luthier I have ever worked with. I have brought several guitars to him in various need of setup or repair. These included a Taylor steel string, a Fender Strat and a Cordoba nylon string. The Cordoba required substantial re-building and setup.
Jim was totally awesome and helpful. He was quick to respond and to service my acoustic guitar. I went to him for a setup because I had never gotten one on this guitar, and turns out nothing needed adjustment so he cleaned, polished, and restrung my guitar.
I wanted to get my new acoustic guitar setup properly and wanted to get it done at a place where it would be shown the same love. Jim did such a fabulous job of fixing the high fret action and intonation of the instrument, it sounds scales above its price.
