I picked up my Godin guitar today, and the neck was unplayable on the upper strings. I was frantic. I called my friends at New Canaan Music and thank God Al answered the phone. He knows a great deal about guitars and is always more than kind and capable. NCMusic has NEVER let me down.
I was pleasantly surprised when I heard about a "mom & pop" type music shop opening in Newport! Stopping by one day I had the pleasure of meeting the Owner, Phil who was dropping off some new guitars from his New Canaan store.
The customer service here cannot be beat and is really what this shop excels most in. I came in here to seek help with a new guitar with a beginner's knowledge of what I was looking for.
I called New Canaan Music earlier today because my A String suddenly unraveled and I couldn't fix it myself. I unfortunately didn't catch the gentleman's name, however he took my cello (which I dropped off in front of the store due to social distancing) and told me it would be ready in half an hour.
