My experience at Norm Letendre's guitar shop in Newington Ct. was nothing less than stellar!!! After bringing an old 2002 gibson es-135 arch top, which I have not been playing out that much with lately because a few notes on it were bottoming out, up to see if it needed new frets...
I should have put this review in 14 months ago. Better late then never. I have nothing but positive comments about Norm's Guitar repair Quality work and Quality Person. I had a MAJOR neck issue on my Acoustic . I contacted 3 Luthiers in eastern Ct, brought the guitar to 1 who attempted to fix the issue and couldn't.
Norm is absolutely the best repairman for guitars in CT I've been getting guitars fixed with him for over a decade now and he never disappoints. It does matter if the headstock is broken, you need new frets, new electronics a neck reset on acoustics or a simple setup and new strings. NORM IS THE ABSOLUTE MAN!
Norm did great work restoring the electronics of my 1950s Gibson ES 125 to working order, fixed up my sagging bridge, and left me a very happy customer. Price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of work. I will bring my guitars to no other!
